Ports for DocView

If you are either : Viewing using the DocView client, Uploading using Omnisave or uploading from Kofax you will need to open up a port to enable communication.

This is normally port 3200, however it is 3000 on some (generally older) installations.

If all of you activity is within your firewall, there is no need to enable ports. You can determine and adjust the port setting in the System Environment variables (AS/400) or the DocManager administration application (Windows NT/Unix)

Each client must have the corresponding port value set using the DocView configuration utility (or directly updated in the spyview.ini file)
